Save the Date: Universities, Slavery, Public Memory, & The Built Landscape Symposium Dates Announced
We look forward to seeing everyone at UVA October 18-21, 2017. The symposium, a UVA Bicentennial event, includes a number of important partners: The Nau Center for Civil War Studies, The Carter G. Woodson Institute for African-American and African Affairs, the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities, Universities Studying Slavery (USS), James Madison’s Montpelier, James Monroe’s Highland, and Thomas Jefferson’s Monticello.
